In partnership with Bryant Neighborhood Center, Hilltop Action Coalition holds its HAC Monthly Community Meeting on the last Monday of the month inviting community members to share updates, information, and resources with Hilltop neighbors. Our meetings are a great way to connect and network, as well as receive input from those who live and play in our community.

In partnership with Community Health Care, Hilltop FED (Food. Equity. Distribution.) operates as a community food pantry that provides food products and other items to Hilltop community members. The site is located at the old Goodwill's Coffee Buzz located at 1212 MLK Jr Way, with the entrance on Earnest S Brazill Street. Hilltop FED is open Thursdays and Fridays from 2 PM to 4 PM.

The Hilltop Neighborhood Alliance is a group of Hilltop residents and community members working to build a community development framework aimed at mobilizing, empowering, and accelerating sustainable and equitable urban development leadership. This group focuses on action items like youth development, wealth generation, and neighborhood programming to build a thriving neighborhood.

Hilltop Action Coalition works with various community and volunteer groups to plan and execute quarterly neighborhood pick up events to keep the community clean and welcoming. In addition to picking up litter along the streets, we work to clean and refresh the plants in the large planters along MLK in order to make them attractive and to reduce litter.
The Hilltop Business Crawls began in 2020 as a response to the COVID-19 closures and Link construction affecting businesses along MLK. Working with local partners, HAC has put on several events, focusing on promoting and supporting brick-and-mortar businesses as well as creating pop-up areas for local micro-businesses, entrepreneurs, and community organizations to connect with the Hilltop community.
The Hilltop Action Journal is a traditional community newspaper that is published bi-monthly with a variety of interesting and diverse content that helps connect residents with what’s going on in the Hilltop neighborhood and beyond. The Hilltop Action Journal is a community-driven newspaper aimed at sharing information and resources, telling unique stories and connecting those that live, work and play in the Hilltop neighborhood. Stories, events, resources and other information included in the Journal are submitted by Hilltop community members and organizations. While some small edits are made, content is largely kept in its original form to capture authentic community voice. The Hilltop Action Journal is a newspaper created for and by the Hilltop community.
